This is another pattern study for the upcoming pastel series. This study is in colored pencil, to get an idea of the color interactions. Full-color studies are so important to determining how the final product will look color-wise. Many artists overlook this and execute lots of studies for composition in black and white, but these can never replace a color study, no matter how good you are at determining value.
